Our practice nurses are happy to review patients, by appointment, for the following conditions: Heart disease, Asthma, Diabetes, COPD, Hypertension, Stroke and Epilepsy, Smoking Cessations, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Perephrial Vascular, 24hr BP monitoring & Warfarin Monitoring. The practice nurse will give advice to those patients wishing to travel abroad. However, some travel vaccinations are not within the remit of the NHS and will attract a charge. |

Pharmacists
Alexis Bradley is a pharmacist based at Old School Surgery. Her role is to: Provide expertise in clinical medicines review and address public health and social needs of our patients. She will work closely with the GPs at the practice to ensure prescriptions are processed within the timeframes as outlined in our prescribing section. |

Community Midwives
Our midwife can help you with all aspects of care prior to conceiving, during your pregnancy and in the first 10 days following your baby's delivery, or longer if required. She is present during antenatal, postnatal and well women clinics at the health centre. |
Community Nurses
The district nurses provide home nursing care and services for patients who are unable to attend the surgery. Please do not request the services of our district nurses if you are able to attend the surgery. |
Health Visitors
Our health visitors routinely visit mothers and babies from 11 days old until five years old. They advise on subjects such as child development, feeding and immunisations. |
